The campus Placement at BITS,Pilani has witnessed an improvement this semester over previous semesters. Highest pay this semester has been Rs 14 lakhs per annum. This is expected to increase with many high profile companies such as Amazon, Credit Suisse, Royal Dutch visiting for placement.
"There is noticeable improvement in the recruitment scenario both in Pilani and Goa campuses compared to previous year. Intake per company is certainly more this year" said Prof M. S. Das Gupta, Chief, Placement Unit who looks after the placement at both Pilani and Goa campuses which produce 1700 graduates and postgraduates every year.
He added "Some areas which are doing exceptionally well are Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science, wherein the placement has been almost 100%".
