BITSAT 2013: Application Procedure and Eligibility Criteria for aspirants

Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) conducts an entrance examination BITSAT 2013 to admit students in its degree programmes. The application procedure for BITSAT has already begun and the last date to apply online is 15th February, 2012 till 5:00 PM along with fee. Those students who want to apply to various programmes can apply online by visiting their official website: http://bitsadmission.com/bitsat/bitsatmain.htm. This year BITSAT 2013 online test will be conduct between 14th May - 1st June 2013. Aspirants can book their test date as per their convenience.

BITSAT 2012 Application Procedure:

All the candidates who want to appear in BITSAT 2013 should register their names for the upcoming exam. Aspirants need to visit official website and complete the application form online at http://www.bitsadmission.com and pay the prescribed fees. Candidates should take the print out of the filled form for their reference.

If a candidate want to make fee payment by demand draft then a copy of the complete application form along with a DD of Rs. 1750/- need to be sent .Female candidates need to pay Rs.1250/- as examination fee. Demand draft for the application should be sent to Admission Officer, BITS Pilani-333031.

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2013:

To get admission in any programme, candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State Board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects. A Candidate should have obtained minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English. Those candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination in 2013 are also eligible for BITSAT 2012 entrance examination or those who have passed the 12th class examination in 2012 are eligible for test.
