BITS Goa sounds fun :) A college in Goa. Man, that’s a dream come true. Competition to get in would be pretty steep!

Although BITS Goa and BITs Hyde are equally good but i would suggest you can go for BITs Goa…apart from the fun factor, BITs Goa has better enviornment for non-south indian students and academically also its good. If you are not a South Indian then it would be herculean task to join BITs Hyderabad and mix up with other students.

    So go for BITs Goa.

Yeah folks, agreed that Goa is good. But if you are going in for higher studies after you B.E. I would suggest Hyderabad because the thing is that, lots of GRE/GMAT/CAT coaching centres are here, more than Goa I suppose. And yeah, Goa and Hyderabad are equally tough to get into. And the North Indian, South Indian factor- There are lot of south Indians in Pilani too.. Forget all that- I agree that regionalism will prevail in Hyderabad campus-but you can put up with it.
