    Dear rksrks,

    I personally think that it depends upon the interest of the student rather than the present statistics because the branches which were considered to be top 5 yrs back are now in trouble.

    You cannot decide the BE discipline as it will be awarded based on ur first year performance , however as far as M.Sc is concerned i would suggest economics. Physics and maths or even chem might seem fancy but doing an M.SC. In these subjects can be really difficult if u do not have the interest to sustain it.eco is sac (simple and convenient)

    i’d agree with what san8steel has to say; however, note that it’s vital to understand that even msc in eco is a bad choice if you are not interested in it; talk to people about how these subjects are and what it is to study them – this should help you decide!
